I was thinking the other day, that I might need to get me some lighter gear to carry around, I’ve always thought you never know what can come up on your way, and I am not that big fan of cell phone photography. Even though some great images can be done with them, I might sound a bit outdated.
I have not worked on photography lately, probably we all have those low days when no inspiration comes whatsoever.
But these lovely flowers inspired me to rack my light and give them a few shots.
I had not published these portraits on my website, not that I had forgotten that I made these beautiful images of Ellen, she is part of the National Ballet Company here in El Salvador.
She revealed not just how natural she is in front of a lens, but the true artistry of her moves in front of it is so striking, that the resulting images turned out to be pure magic.

I have decided to review my not so old material, and I ran into this folder from 2015, I found these lovely photos I did while working with Pixelarte.
I think it was probably one of the first weddings I took pictures of (while that photography project lasted).

But first we had to shoot some photos of the mom to be.

Well, this was probably one of the most challenging things I have done.
Since I spend a lot of time at the beach these days, we may have luck and see the whales that come to these warm waters, from December to March there’s always a good chance to catch them.
We hired a tour guide to take us on a boat, we had to be pretty early at Los Cobanos beach, here in El Salvador, to set off sailing to the adventure, he warned us there could be a chance that they would not come out, so we were kind of expectant trying to predict whether they came out or not.
I did not count that I’d get sick, I thought I was quite fine until the boat stopped, to hold the camera, while those gorgeous mammals made their show was not an easy thing.
But all that trouble was just worth it!
