NOREEN & NELSON

It’s been a long time since I’ve worked an event photoshoot, this wedding took place at Los Farallones Hotel, here in El Salvador, it’s well known for it’s beautiful views.

Noreen and Nelson took their time to plan it, since it’s been a difficult time this year for these kind of events, only a few were invited to this lovely ceremony, and it was made with special details which showed their love and affection.

We started really early that day, Noreen got make up and hair done in San Salvador, I was worried that it would not last until the end of the day, we live in a warm and humid environment.

She came out looking really pretty.

Later on, we drove down to the beach resort, I can tell you it’s a bit difficult to use a mask in that weather, but with good hidration, things become a little bit easier to handle in those cases.

The bridesmaids arrived and helped her change into her gorgeous wedding attire.

When the ceremony was about to start her parents came in to wish her all the best.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!

May all your dreams together become a reality!

MEXICAN TOUCH

After all these months of slow -or maybe none- photographic work, JCP Arquitectos rang me to do an interiors photoshoot.

This restaurant is located in downtown San Salvador, where the Centro Histórico is located.

The restaurant’s specialty is mexican food, their owners wanted a place where you could feel the touch of color as well as many details that belong to salvadoran culture, I love the mixture of both, I thought it was pretty original and creative.

THE QUARANTINE CHALLENGE

I guess none of us ever expected to be confined because of a virus, the first thing that may have popped in is that the Third World War would explode or something! But no, here we are locked at home with our family which actually I prefer over anything else these days. Some others may be a bit desperate to go out and try to have a «normal»life.

This is the new normal these days. And I’m trying to make the best out of it.

I am trying to use my time to learn some new skills, try to handle better PS or even the use of flash or any other type of light to make a pic.

In a way, I need to have my head busy into something, busy into creativeness since it’s my escaping method, it can be pretty hectic sometimes being in a lockdown period.

And so after all these days, I decided to go outside, downtown to be more specific -where it’s usually crowded, to find an empty city.

It actually felt kind of cool not having too many people around, somehow not being affraid to take out my camera.

Maybe I can make some more before it starts getting back to our new normality…

That feeling of urban emptyness… I can barely describe it.

If buildings could talk and tell us their stories…

JOHN & DANA

It was on a saturday afternoon, our location this time was Cardedeu, a beautiful spot by the Coatepeque Lake -which by the way is one of the beauties of this country-, its well known for its price winning architecture.

That’s the place where John and Dana chose to exchange their vows in this very intimate ceremony organized with their close friends Roberto and Camila.

It was really a touching experience of love, and I thank them for making me part of it.

Selecting

ARLINE & RONALD

It has been kind of a slow year when it comes to weddings, my friend Karen asked me to help her with another one, and somehow, these events are so unique.

We first met with Arline and Ronald a few days before their big day, and you could see such chemistry between them that we knew that our images would turn out wonderfully!

Particularmente me emociona!

Gracias chicos por volver a confiar en mi para documentar el evento!

Recent Trip to Antigua Guatemala

Another couple of pics added!

Antigua Guatemala has a magic of its own, this city was founded during the Spanish colonization, becoming the Capitanía General de Centroamerica or Kingdom of Guatemala. It’s well known for the good preservation of its old architecture dating from the 1500 century.

It is a 6 hour drive from San Salvador, through the capital city of Guatemala. We’ve been going there quite often since childhood.

It’s also a well visited destination for tourists from around the world, their people are really kind and friendly.
